Micro-Fasts
Fasting is a great way to clear out toxins, reboot your metabolism and renew your spirit. The lemonade fast is typically done for ten days, but I have found that 36 hours (the night before, the entire day and the night after) does wonders. The effects of fasting are cumulative, so weekly or monthly micro-fasts provide the same results as an extended fast.

Because it’s kind of hard to go an entire day without eating, I started offering fasting retreats where we meet at a hotel and do it together!
Here’s how it works. You wake up and start your fast (sip lemon water or the lemonade mixture). Then we meet up at the hotel at 12:30. We meditate, talk and relax for the whole day. The next morning we come together for a morning meditation and some fresh fruit!
You’ll not only feel more physically clear, but you will have increased willpower and a natural desire to eat better.
The next fasting retreat is on Friday August 5th at the beautiful Smoke Tree Resort in Scottsdale. The setting is perfect for renewing the mind, body and soul.
